This place is absolutely disgusting. It is by far the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the tables were sticky and filthy. The pizza was okay, but the restaurant itself was a complete dump. I honestly don’t understand how the health inspector hasn’t shut this place down or at least forced them to clean it. I will never step foot in this place again. I’ve seen gas station bathrooms cleaner than this restaurant. It’s a shame because the location is great, but the cleanliness is beyond terrible

Worst experience o ur side our lovely waitress Bella- she was great - waited 50 min for our kids pizzas (3 littles)- they came and were like rocks- little cheese- even kids didn’t want. I had BBQ Chkn pizza and it was hideous- rubber. My husbands Thai Chkn pizza was better but for $150 dinner it was terribly disappointing and we won’t be back. Took our grandkids hoping to experience it the way we did with our own kids. Holy Cow have they slipped. Only two folks in the pizza tossing area working their butts off, impossible to keep up w that size restaurant, zero viewing of any kind of manager- no offer for utter disappointment. Outside the waitstaff, others had zero pleasure in working there- hostess- bus person- no joy or hello’s whatsoever.

At a time when customer service is falling by the wayside, as soon as I stepped foot in the California Pizza Kitchen, I was welcomed and assisted by Marvin who was friendly and personable. He made quick but very polite small talk and then showed me where to go to pick up my order. I had the Salmon Piccata which was much better than I even expected. I also had the starter, which was the White Corn Guacamole and Chips, which was a refreshing and delicious treat. Although my main entree was ready when I arrived, I decided to get a starter dish, and once the waitress went to put that order in, Eva came over and asked if I would like a beverage while I waited which I greatly appreciated! Although it was a 35-minute ride from my area to California Pizza Kitchen, due to the great service and the delicious meal, I would definitely make a trip back here again. Keep up the Great Service and Delicious Dishes!

This location was extremely busy when I visited on a Sunday about 2:30. Its located on the 1st floor of Somerset Mall near Macy's. Lots of free parking available but if they are busy you may have to drive around a bit. My guest and I were seated after a short wait. Carlos was our server and despite having several other tables, he was very attentive and took good care of us. The Mocktail Strawberry Fresca tasted like soap but my Strawberry Lemonade was yummy. The sauce for the chicken dumpling appetizer was so good, I was they sold in bottles to the public. My chopped salad was good per usual (it never disappoints) . My friend told the server it was my birthday and I must say that I was surprised that my desert wasn't free. The key lime pie was delightful and a decent serving size. Other than that, I had good experience.

I had a great afternoon at CPK during their happy hours. We tried a few dishes and drinks — the BBQ Chicken Pizza and Dynamite Shrimp were absolutely amazing. Their happy hour deals are really worth it, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks, and overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place. However, I was a bit disappointed with the front staff, as they seemed careless and inattentive while assigning tables to customers ( My reason for 3 rating service ).
